Business Chic: Striped Blazer + Tweed Pants

Blazers & pantsuits are pretty much my uniform & if I had to describe my style most of the time it would definitely be a blend of business chic + business casual. I love pairing structured blazers with jeans, or going for a classic suit all around; the options are endless. For this look I wanted to create somewhat of a juxtaposition and shot at a very industrial location in Brooklyn, hence the dark moody tones.

These tweed pants were so long (even for someone as tall as me) that I barely managed to keep them off the ground, even in 4 inch heels (I’m 6’1″ in these!). But I love the wide flare & fit so much I couldn’t resist them for this outfit. All my other bags felt too plain next to the dark tones, so I went for a pop of animal print and it instantly made this look come alive. To really emphasize the business chic vibe, I wore my striped blazer with a basic black turtleneck underneath.

Unlike last week, this week is looking pretty hectic and busy between schoolwork, exams, internship hunting, & shooting looks, but I’ve taken on far worse and I’m ready to kick this week’s butt. Wishing you all a fabulous coming week, xoxo.
